Lamp Black Madder Rose Works by Marie
Le Lievre. Le Lievre's application of paint is rich, dense,
nuanced, and as technically considered as it appears the product of
chance. Her inspiration runs the gamut from New York School
Abstract Expressionism to Paris School Tachisme. Her relentless
energy and obsessive attention to detail is central to the
arresting works she creates.
