Embrace the joy and volatility of street life with
Urban's 17 to 28 year-old acrobats who risk everything for
your entertainment. Aided by a backbeat of Latin rap, hip-hop,
reggae and choral singing, they jump, somersault, fly, tumble and
breakdance across the stage, telling urban stories of life on the
streets of Cali, Colombia.
All are graduates of Circa Para Todos, Circus For All - the
world's first professional circus school for disadvantaged
youth. Based in Cali, the non-profit Circo Para Todos was
established by Circolombia's Director, Felicity Simpson. It takes
young people from Colombia's slums and allows them to transcend
their difficult backgrounds in the most spectacular way: as
world-class performers onstage exuding a power that is physical,
raw, volcanic and incredibly honest.
Fifty percent of Circolombia's profits go to the school.
Come and be immersed in the sights and sounds of the Cali
streets!
